Message from Dr. Virginia Rivera

At MAHILA UDYAMI, we are driven by a powerful vision: to empower women as transformative catalysts for change within their communities and beyond. For those that know me, this pivotal moment fulfills a lifelong personal commitment inspired by my mother in my island, Puerto Rico. As the Chief Program Officer, I have the honor of leading a passionate team dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of women entrepreneurs through our innovative programs. My mother's resilience and creativity have profoundly shaped my path. I witnessed her steadfast determination and strength as she navigated significant hardships, always striving to provide a better life for our family. It was through her struggles that I discovered the profound potential of entrepreneurship to overcome uncertainty. I am also incredibly proud to partner with Adv. Peeyush Pandit, Chairman of the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust. A true champion of social justice, Adv. Pandit has devoted over two decades to empowering marginalized communities and advocating for educational equity, particularly for girls and women. His unwavering commitment and tireless efforts have illuminated countless lives, inspiring hope and driving meaningful change. With his guidance and support, we are transforming our shared vision into a powerful reality, ensuring that women are equipped to lead and thrive. Women are the backbone of our society, yet they often face significant barriers to economic participation. Our mission is to dismantle these obstacles by providing targeted support, resources, and training that enable women to unlock their full potential. Through our four flagship projects, we focus on skill development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth, equipping women with the essential tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

We firmly believe that when women succeed, entire communities flourish. By cultivating a vibrant ecosystem that celebrates diversity and encourages collaboration, we are not just empowering individual women—we are igniting a powerful movement that drives economic progress and social change. Join us on this inspiring journey as we work together to create a future where women have equal opportunities to shine and lead. Together, we can make a profound and lasting impact, paving the way for generations to come. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to this vital cause. In solidarity,
