In 2023, Mahila Udyami entered a transformative new chapter during a pivotal visit to India🇮🇳.
It was there that Dr. Virginia Rivera met Adv. Peeyush Pandit — a renowned advocate for social justice, education, and women’s empowerment, as well as Chairman of the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust and the Peeyush Group of Companies.

For over 20 years, Adv. Pandit has been a tireless champion of humanitarian causes, driven by a deep commitment to finding real solutions for his community. His unwavering dedication has earned him global recognition as one of the world’s most respected humanitarians 🌍, inspiring thousands to join his mission for positive change.

United by their shared vision of uplifting women, Dr. Rivera and Adv. Pandit joined forces to give birth to MAHILA UDYAMI — a name that means “Mujer Emprende” in Spanish and “Women Entrepreneurs” in English.

This powerful collaboration marked the beginning of an exciting new era, expanding the movement to empower rural women in India and beyond. By combining expertise, resources, and purpose, Mahila Udyami is building a global ecosystem that nurtures female entrepreneurship, drives sustainable development 🌱, and inspires lasting change.

Today, Mahila Udyami stands as a living testament to the belief that when changemakers unite, transformation becomes unstoppable.
